Q+A with Kathy Peterson, CPFA™, AIF®, CRPC®

Get to know Kathy Peterson, the newly appointed Director of Corporate retirement Plans, as she shared what this promotion means to her and as well as her vision for the team’s future in a recent conversation.

How has your role evolved since you first joined the company?

Since joining Aldrich Wealth over five years ago, my role has evolved significantly. I started with a focus primarily on client relationships, and over time, I have had the opportunity to take on more management responsibilities and business development. This evolution has been a result of Aldrich Wealth empowering its employees and fostering professional growth.

How have the Corporate Retirement Plan Team’s collaborative efforts contributed to the growth and success of our corporate retirement plan services?

Collaboration is at the heart of everything we do. We work as a team which allows our consultants to be dynamic and supportive, which benefits all our clients. Each consultant on our team has a different area of focus and expertise that we can leverage to deliver retirement plan solutions and strategies that exceed our clients’ expectations. This team approach adds tremendous value to the services we offer.

How do you envision our corporate retirement plan services evolving?

Our services constantly evolve as the industry and regulations change. A differentiator for us is that we are an independent investment advisor, and we do not have any conflicts, affiliations, or compensation arrangements with any investment product we recommend. Another differentiator that is becoming increasingly rare is that we do not cross-sell other services to plan participants. We act as a fiduciary for all clients, meaning our recommendations always put their best interests first. We plan to continue focusing on doing what is best for our clients in an industry that is not always doing that.

How has Aldrich Wealth's company culture influenced your professional development?

Our company culture has had a significant impact on my professional development. I have felt supported every step of my journey at Aldrich Wealth and have had the opportunity to be mentored by and work for amazing leaders. I feel fortunate and extremely grateful for the opportunities Aldrich Wealth has provided.

What core value of Aldrich Wealth resonates most with you, and why?

Two of our core values stand out to me as I step into this new role. The first is “prioritizing people” which will be top of mind as I step into this management position. Our clients and our employees are the reason we continue to do what we do, which is serving the needs of corporate retirement plans. The other core value that stands out is “relentlessly pursuing excellence” which is what we aspire to every day. I am extremely excited for the future of this amazing team!
